Tomorrow staff and students of Gorham and Ware are invited to wear pink in honour of the International Day of Pink. While this day actually falls in April 14, we didn’t want the opportunity to celebrate diversity and to stand up to bullying and all forms of discrimination to pass us by as a school community. Wearing pink is symbolic of challenging social norms with the goal of creating a more inclusive and diverse world. We would love to see an ocean of pink tomorrow. The 4/5 and 5/6 classes had a virtual visit with Minister of Health/Local MP Patty Hajdu today. Students brainstormed and generated a list of excellent questions for Minister Hajdu relating to not only her job as both an MP and Health Minister, but also about important current events and issues in our country.
