Even cows love to sing!

Go Sing Vocal Studio 14.11.2020

Dear lovely singers, Due to the progression of the current situation, our studios Go Sing and Ryan Luchuck Voice will no longer be doing in person lessons. ALL lessons are now transferred to Skype/Facetime. I assure you, Skype and Facetime are just as good of a platform to be learning. For those who have been with me for a while and are familiar with the scales, it would be a breeze. For those are are newer, learning the scales online is a bit of a learning curve. But YOU C...AN DO IT! I BELIEVE IN YOU! It really makes you listen and it takes your listening skills to a whole new level. It is our only option now until this situation alleviates. We aren’t sure how long this will take but it is our social responsibility to do our part to keep you and your families safe. * For the next 2 weeks (Mar 23rd - Apr 6th), I will be offering my new promo: 1/2 priced Try A Skype Lesson!! Available to all students even if you have already skyped with me before. * My hours are now 11am to 9pm everyday 7 days a week. So feel free to email me for a time. Lots to pick from!! Here are some reasons why you should try a Skype lesson: 1. To keep up the momentum and muscle memory of singing your scales until things return to normal. It will still benefit your growth more to continue learning over Skype than to stop completely. If the situation drags on and you loose momentum, its might be challenging to pick it up again. 2. To keep building co-ordination and changing your scales as your voice grows 3. To improve your listening skills 4. To continue singing songs and keeping up with your rhythm/musicality 5. To work on performance/stage presence and story telling 6. To maintain the strength of the muscles used in the singing/breathing process 7. To ask questions you may have about your current home practice 8. To reduce stress and improve mood ( Singing can be very meditative for a lot of people and is a natural antidepressant, releasing endorphins and oxytocin) 9. Singing increases the levels of several different cytokines, suggesting that music can boost the immune system. 10. Singing lessons gives you the opportunity to engage in something that you love. Especially with all the anxiety that surrounds us now, people really need to remember to maintain their passions and have an outlet for creative release. Please email me or text me if you have any questions: Love you all, keep safe and healthy Cindy Go Sing!

Hey Singers! Its important that I take a moment and connect with you directly as the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to impact our community. There is a lot of uncertainty and fear on everyone’s minds at the moment. Fear can affect your health by weakening your immune system thus increasing your risk of becoming sick. I don’t want that for you. We know that singing is one of our best natural therapies and a great immune system booster. Many of you have expressed to me th...at you don't want to stop your training. So I want you to know everything I am doing to help keep us all safe. Strategies: 1. Door-knob and common area disinfecting 8-10 times a day (we are doing this constantly) 2. Replacing our reusable water cups with disposable cups. 3. Temporary suspension of straw and lip trill exercises (the most airborne and you can do this before coming to class) 4. Blocking forced air vents in our studios and waiting room and stopping use of fans that circulate the air. 5. Once hand sanitizers become available for purchase, they will be in every room. 6. Room will be rearranged to keep 6ft of distance between my students and me as possible. 7. A germ guardian UV HEPA air filter is present during all lessons that works with Titanium Dioxide to kill airborne bacteria, viruses, germs and mold spores. (Now, there are some who say the COVID-19 virus is too small to be picked up by the filter but bacteria and some other virus can be picked up and killed by the UV thus lowering the overall chance of getting sick, the best prevention is still distancing) 8. Alcohol swabs and cleaners provided if you wish to use the mic though I don't recommend that at the moment. How you can help: 1.If you have any concerns, please use Skype for your lessons. This is a GREAT option for now. Many of my students choose to do their lessons online already, simply for convenience so it works very well. 2. Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds before and after every lesson. 3. Bring your own water bottle 4. Please don’t come in for a lesson if you are even a little sick or feel you are starting to get sick, we can either do it online or reschedule you. 5. Do your straw and lip trills before class. 6. No handshakes or close contact 7. No touching the animals in the house. 8. Get lots of sleep, sunlight, water, fresh foods, exercise and be close to nature to keep your body strong. Please email me with any concerns, I am happy to talk with you. Keep singing even through uncertainty, because its calming and it heals the soul. Cindy
