Important notice for Caddy Lake from Sustainable Development July 20, 2017 - South Whiteshell Temporary Closure of Caddy Lake Boat Launch... Caddy Lake boat launch will be temporarily closed commencing Monday July 24 through to Friday July 28 and from Monday July 31 through to Friday August 4, 2017. The boat launch will be open on the weekends. Manitoba Sustainable Development wishes to advise that the provincial Amphibex will be returning to the Caddy Lake area to assist in the removal of some of the remaining floating bog pieces that broke free in last years high water. This is being done to prevent any chance of obstructing the out flow through the tunnels. The bog is being hauled to shore at the Caddy Lake boat launch for removal at the approved site. Arrangements have been made with Green Bay Resort located off of Provicial Highway #312 at the southeast end of Caddy Lake to utilize their boat launch for anyone requiring one during the weekdays.
