Hello Go Travel clients! Thank you so much for your patience during this time. Our agents are 100% committed to helping you and I am pleased to report, nearly all of you have been taken care of with the most imminent travel, first. We are constantly monitoring the ever changing advisories and are reaching out to our clients with options as they come in. ... Thank you ALL so much for entrusting us and allowing us to prove the value of what we do. You have all been so kind and understanding as we work with minimal sleep and 9+ hour hold times. Our suppliers, too, have worked around the clock to help us help you - and they are also rock stars! However.... because of the amount of calls we are receiving to our toll free line from travelers that "booked themselves" and are panicking because they cant get through to the supplier/airline/hotel - please note - we can NOT help you. The privacy of information act does not allow us access to your booking. Even though we want to help you all, we cant. We are sympathetic, trust me, but we will NO longer tolerate the abuse that we have received from answering said calls from non-clients. Effective immediately, all calls will be going to our voicemail, which will be checked IMMEDIATELY and we WILL call you right back. That is a promise. This will in NO way affect you, our amazing clients, and we will continue to be at your service, now and in the future :) I know we may not make your short list of most important jobs in the world - but to our clients, we sure are, and have proved our value 10-fold, not just in times like this. Please BE KIND. To EVERYONE. Those of us working around the clock, to those risking their health (and their families) to stock the grocery store, to our health care providers....to the small businesses that will feel the aftermath of this for months to come - if not longer. I wish you all could see what goes on behind the scenes in a travel agents world. I wish you could glimpse the discussions and TEARS we are sharing... some happ...y... some out of frustration... some for worry... and it isnt just in times like this!!!!
