So proud of our HWDSB Programs of the Arts Media Majors for their participation in the HWDSB 2019 Skills Competition. Just wanted to share their achievement! Congratulations again!

Did you know that HWDSB Programs of the Arts has a Contemporary Music Stream. Students learn using Pop/Rock and contemporary genres of music over their 4 years. We have drums, electronic instruments, guitars, piano keyboard and vocalists in this stream. Students do a lot of creating and performing and using electronic instruments plus recording equipment in these courses. Virtual Youth Programs: We have evening and weekend programing for students in grades 7 to 12 in Playwriting, Shakespeare and Musical Theatre. o Details and registration: https://www.stratfordfestival.ca/Learn/Virtual/Youth. We also have bursaries available for these to support access and inclusion! We are striving to offer as many opportunities for students to stay engaged and active this fall and for them to be able to interact with other young people from across North America and beyond.
