There was a fire a few doors down from our house yesterday (it got much worse than in this photo). All people and pets involved are safe, but all three families living in the building have been displaced. We’re looking at longer term solutions, but in the short term, one woman in particular needs clo...thing and personal care items. She’s staying at a hotel with only the shorts and t-shirt she had on when she had to evacuate, and they are covered in smoke. I’ve tried to buy some basics for her, but with the lockdown, I need to order online and none of the local stores will fulfill an order for clothing same/next day. If anyone local (Sudbury) has any comfy clothes that are clean and in good shape in a 2 or 3xl that you’re willing to donate today, please let me know! I can pick up, or we can arrange a drop off at my house. Thanks!!
