A Fairview-area man in his 80s linked to cases at Queen Elizabeth II Hospital passed away today, said Alberta Health spokesman Tom McMillan (8 active cases in MD of Fairview). Greenview adds 10 cases with 3 recoveries (40 active); Saddle Hills is steady at 4; MD of Spirit River is steady at 1; MD of Peace adds 8... (35 active); MD of Smoky River adds 1 (2 active); Big Lakes adds 1 (3 active); Northern Lights adds 1 with a recovery (5 active); Northern Sunrise is steady at 2; Mackenzie County adds 1 (10 active); MD of Lesser Slave River adds 5 (10 active). Greenview adds 3 cases with 2 recoveries (33 active); MD of Spirit River has a new case; Saddle Hills is steady at 4; MD of Fairview is steady at 9; MD of Peace adds 2 cases with 5 recoveries (27 active); MD of Smoky River has a recovery (1 active); Big Lakes and Northern Sunrise are steady at 2 each; Northern Lights is steady at 5; Mackenzie County adds 1 (9 active). Fort McMurray adds 20 cases (140 active), contributing to a jump in the North Zone.
