Below is some important information regarding our operations for Global Pets Foods Truro, New Glasgow (Stellarton) and Sydney, NS in lieu of the COVID-19 pandemic which we are monitoring closely. At present, our stores are still open during regular business hours and we intend to be open for your pet’s essential foods and supplies as long as it is safe for everyone. In the event we reduce... hours, we will update our store voicemails, Google listings, the Store Locator at globalpetfoods.com and post on our Facebook pages. The safety of our team members and you, our customers, is of upmost importance; therefore, we have implemented measures which allow us to practice social/physical distancing during this pandemic. We are limiting the number of customers in the store at once. We kindly ask you respect the instructions of our team members during this time as they will designate you to a waiting area where they will ‘pick’ your order for you. We also kindly ask you: *Refrain from entering the store if you are unwell or are displaying any symptoms of COVID-19 *Pay with debit / credit (use cash as a last resort) *Limit the amount of people shopping in your party *Pets are not allowed to visit the store unless absolutely necessary (i.e. a Service Dog) so we can practice physical distancing and limit the time people are spending in the store *Our restroom will not be available to customers during this time Some other measures we have implemented to provide a safe environment include: *We are regularly disinfecting all high-touch areas *We have communicated proper hand-washing techniques to team members *Team members will stay home if they are feeling unwell *We have increased the accessibility of hand sanitizers for team members and customers *We are wearing gloves for cash transactions *We have suspended participation in events inside and outside of the store We sincerely appreciate your cooperation and understanding of our enhanced safety measures in this extraordinary situation.
