Greg Durda is a longstanding supporter of RMHC Alberta, and dedicates over 150 hours yearly to volunteering and fundraising efforts in the Peace Region. Greg'...s son Matthew lost his battle to cancer when he was seven years old, and during Matthew's fight the Durda family called RMHC Alberta home. Wanting to give back, over the years Greg has spearheaded two of RMHC Alberta's signature events, taking over the Randy Greg Golf Tour and creating Shoot for the House -- the single largest one-day non-registered fundraising shoot in Canada, which continues to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars annually for RMHC Alberta more than eight years later. SANTAAAAAA Courtney MacDougall Design and No Negatives Required have teamed up again in support of the Ronald McDonald House Charity. This is a cha...rity I (Kyla) hold very closer to my heart as I personally worked with them before my daughter passed. Saturday November 28th we well be doing social distanced Santa Photos in studio by appointment only! Each session will be spaced out to ensure we can clean the set in-between. Bookings are now open!!! Please contact us to set up your appointment. It is a minimum $20 donation to book your spot. All donations will be kept track of and presented to the RMHC once Santa Photos are complete this day. It is a $20 minimum however if you can donate more we would greatly appreciate it as there are many many families who use this on a day to day basis to be closer to our sick children. From all of us who have used the house to be closer to our children in some of the most difficult times of our lives we sincerely thank you for your support

Altogether there were 4547 items created this year. We distribute these items every September. In 2020, we donated to the Baby’s Best Start, Beaverlodge Family Services, Cancer Hat Tree, Coats for Kids, Elder Care, Friendship Centre, GP Palliative Care Society, Heritage Lodge, Hythe Food Bank, Jail, Neo-Natal unit, Northreach Society, Oasis Mat Program, Odyssey House, Pregnant Care, Pregnant Teens, Red Cross, Ronald McDonald House, Rotary House, Sagitawa Boys and Girls Camp, Salvation Army, Spruce Grove Fire Department, St. Joseph’s Walk-in Ministry, Teen Shelter, White Rose Program-hospital, Wild Rose Lodge, Willow Place. Rod from Advantage Claims in Edmonton saw the Global Edmonton story about feeding our families in the absence of our Home for Dinner program, and he dropped by ...today with a donation of $1,000. Hello Everyone, we have been selected as the charity of choice for this weekends drive in theatre at Bullets and Broadheads. Thank you to the organizers for thinking of us. Much has changed for charitable organizations during this pandemic, but the work of RMHC Alberta continues. RMHC Alberta is committed to serving and supporting families, both in and out of our Houses. While we are not currently accepting new families, we want to meet the needs of those families who would normally be able to rely on a Ronald McDonald House in Alberta.... By purchasing a $20 RAFFLE TICKET, you will help fund travel expenses, hotel accommodations, and meal costs for families who must still travel for medical treatment for their sick or injured child during these challenging times.
