Grace Inn received a wonderful donation of food to fill the pantry for the guests from two amazing little girls, Emma and Cassie. Thank you so much for your generosity, and love for the guests that use the Grace Inn Shelter.

9 year old Andrew and his family, reached out to there community of Madoc to support those who use Grace Inn Shelter, stemming from one idea for change. Andrew and his family were able to raise over $1000 and provide over a dozen bags of groceries with a generous milk donation from Reid's Dairy Company Ltd. to ensure that no one goes hungry. It is young people like Andrew that have an idea for change and do something about it, that make this world a better place. Ben arrived last December on the first night the Shelters doors opened. His hands were so cold, they were almost frost bitten. His heart was broken, and his marriage was hanging by one last thread. He no longer had a place to call home. Ben started his journey of healing while staying at Grace Inn Shelter. The staff worked with Ben to link him to the right services, including counselling. Because of people like you, a year later, Ben is living with his family and able to celebrate the Holiday season. He is preparing to enter rehabilitation programming, and he is looking forward to the future because you helped make Grace Inn a refuge when he had nowhere else to go. Today QDAR's Every REALTOR(r) Cares Campaign provided a donation to Grace Inn, Belleville Homeless Shelter of over $6600 plus groceries and coffee cards to help... those in our community who need a place to sleep. To date Grace Inn has served 5623 breakfasts after providing a safe nights' accommodation in their facility. Over this weekend, we had a great time at Maranatha Church, with some of our volunteers, baking for the upcoming Thanksgiving weekend. We are well on our way to providing a wonderful dinner on Thanksgiving Monday!

We are so grateful to the Community Businesses for supporting the Thanksgiving Dinner, hosted on Monday by Grace Inn Shelter in partnership with The Salvation Army Belleville Community & Family Services and Thrift Store. Thank you to Lowe's Canada, Live, Love & Laugh Flowers and Grills Orchards and to Ms. Macgillivary's and Ms. Allen's classes at St. Michaels Catholic Elementary School, for donating the decorations, handmade cards and the supplies to build the benches, to create a successful event.

Thank you Dr Ramez Salti for supporting Grace Inn! We are so thankful for this wonderful community and the individuals, groups and businesses that are so willing to support those most vulnerable in our city, county, and country!

Together with the Salvation Army, the generosity of the community and the hands of many volunteers, Grace Inn was able to serve 90 Thanksgiving meals.

Thanksgiving is coming up soon, Grace Inn is providing the guests with a Thanksgiving dinner! We have create a specific grocery list for this event, please contact us for further details.

Updated Grocery Needs

This weeks grocery needs!

Mike was one of the first guests of Grace Inn earlier this year in January. Soon after the doors of the shelter had opened we were his last option for somewhere safe to live. He also needed someone to give him hope. Because of the support of the community, Mike is back to being able to hold down a job, owning his own car and live in his own apartment. Mike said, "Grace Inn Shelter was there in my time of need." Mike shared that he really felt proud of himself to get his life back together. Because of community support, Grace Inn Shelter gave him the courage to make the changes that were needed in his life. Your support is changing lives everyday. NOTE: name changed for the story

Yesterday we asked for a few grocery donations, and Mike from Mike's Custom Furniture Creations, did not disappoint! We forgot to get a photo but, he came with 8 bags full of pantry items we requested. Thank you for such a fast response and generous heart.

If you would like to add Grace Inn to your grocery list this week, we are in need of; yogurt cups, wraps, sausage, bacon, canned vegetables, pasta sauce, sugar, muffin mix, and ground beef. Introducing our Men’s Suite! Grace Inn has sixteen bed spaces for men! We call it the worlds easiest maze! This space provides each man with a single bed, footlocker and some privacy with 7’ walls between each sleeping space.

Huge shout out to Double Mm Cheesecakes in Belleville. They donated $200 to Three Oaks today!
