Here we are! The end of a year that no one could ever have planned or expected. Through the difficult times of this past year I hope that it hasn’t all been har...d. My wishes and hopes for all of us is that we have grown, reflected and discovered newness; new ways of communications, non commuting-work from home, simplifying lifestyles, discovering the importance of life and its purposes. Creativity, new strategies, hobbies and how to find fun and love in Simplicity. Let’s take the good that has come from 2020 and build upon those things to be greater than the last. For the things of 2020 that have caused pain, sorrow and loss in peoples lives let’s remember to be sensitive and discover how we can come along side and mourn with them and or offer support and friendship. I have really found this Year challenging being a Councillor to you all in the point that I haven’t been able to connect with the community like I normally love to do. I continue to represent the community in council via zoom. We have a lot of challenging decisions to be apart of and I will continue to keep the residents informed well with issues pertaining especially to our ward. I just can’t wait until we can come together again and host community events and Ward 1 meetings.
