Five years ago today I completed my Camino across Spain. Recalling the blessing of 33 days to walk across a country is a gift I savor religiously. As a mother of three, at which time my children were 2, 12, and 11, it took amazing support internally, ethereally, and externally (namely the support of my beloved Lindsay, my Mom, and my Mother-in-Law) to realize this soul-retrieving endeavor. I am grateful. The photos shared here include the sunrise: the moment my shadow was ...pierced and enlightened, the second last morning I walked, and the sunset: the end of a 40km walk on my 33rd and final day of walking. I am truly short on words to engender the medicine of my walk. It is and was a deeply personal experience, and yet universal as a heroine's quest endeavored by us all. Reflecting on my walk does distill this: Soul work, soul walking requires embodied experience, time, quiet, wilderness, introspection, and connection. For all soul seekers out there, I wish for you the reclamation of these qualities to bring about vitality, truth, and your sovereignty. Peace
