Today we made some little Christmas crafts The ladies enjoyed using beads to make candy canes,wreaths and necklaces! Then they watch Emma & Josh make some paper snowflakes ... Winter can be a fun season just like the rest

Today is national cookie day! We decorated homemade lemon cookies,provided by Josh today! Did you know!... The word "cookie" comes from the Dutch "koekje," meaning little cake. We had homemade butter icing to top the cookies off Happy national cookie day! Enjoy a cookie!

Happy first of December! Here’s a little winter poem that’s cute and funny,at the same time 24 days until Christmas

Day 2 of making our guy fawkes guy! He now has a head (That has to dry and be put on but still a head )... The ladies made newspaper strips for his hair,Josh & Emma glued his eyes and nose and mouth on He had brown hair painted onto the strips that were attached on top of his head So he’s now very stylish We can’t wait for guy fawkes night

Today we have been preparing our guy,for November 5th! To celebrate guy fawkes and his failed attempt to blow up parliament in London,in 1605! We used some old clothes and stuffed him to the brim with newspapers! We just have to figure out his head and hands ... Today Guy Fawkes Day is celebrated in the United Kingdom, and in a number of countries that were formerly part of the British Empire, with parades, fireworks, bonfires, and food. We had another good exercise group/class this morning together Exercise group is a favourite daily activity for everyone here! We have our Monday routine that we use,of certain exercises and breathing techniques that we do ... We also do a few little games at the end of the group,to end with some positive feedback to share with each other! Our questions were: 1.If you had a boat,what would you name it! 2.What would your costume be for Halloween! 3.If you had to change your name,what would you change it to! Each resident gets the ball when they’re thinking of their answers Creativity is something everyone should try,even in small details it’s great fun
