When I get a haircut down here, the warmth encourages my hair to grow quickly. First day it looks like suede and two days later my hair looks like velour. The upside is I get to wear my red t-shirt for any early morning walks as the cool breezes reach the skin layer of my body and I feel a mini shiver. The other day Lenna and I did an early early morning long distance walk. Her 10,000 steps that i-phones automatically record works out to be 3-4 times the number of steps for m...e due to my much shorter legs and my one tenth of Lenna's weight. We stopped regularly to take photos of the satisfying sights that so stimulate our hearts and souls. My favourite photo stop was in front of Ganesha. His name means Lord of the People (gana means the common people). Like a rat and like an elephant, Ganesha is a remover of obstacles. We had no obstacles that day. A long time friend of Lenna's, Paula, asked if she was going to the Dr Joe week long retreat being held closeby to our present rental home. I am always sending telepathic thoughts to the pack. Ideas of what we can write about. Yet we are so engaged in living life we rarely take the time to write about the blessings and curses that guide us each day on what to do and not to do, what works best and what does not. As you can see from the photos, we have shared and continue to share contemplative times, now as we enter our fifth year together as a pack. I am in the group shot as well yet my head is slightly sticking up above the table top, the size of a postage stamp. OMGracie xo P.S. I turned 6 ish dog years November 28 (42 ish human years) yet apparently do not look a day older, yet somehow a little bit wiser? Yes? Cause I actually feel wiser.

It was this kinda day, yesterday during O's birthday. Walks and talks while the sun found its way out between the clouds in the sky. O captured L and Me in a state of deeeep appreciation expressing the purest of loves on his camera phone. For humans love is a complex set of emotions, behaviors, and beliefs associated with strong feelings of affection, protectiveness, warmth, and respect for another. For dogs...simpler. Many of the humans are back to work while still obeying the order to socially distance. Their gags sure look different than ours. At least we can still breathe the fresh air. Phew. OMGracie xo

My fave dish at Clorofila is the pizza crust, made of yucca flour. I only get a few nibbles yet so scrumptious. The photo is of me and one of the restaurant staff, and friend, Mi Chata Rodriguez, who always has good caring news to share when we are there!
