@thewildlifeofkevin Why am I posing like this?? Competition day!! I’ve made some interesting leaps and choices in my life and, so far so good. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu was a challenge that I thought I’d try out as I’d heard good things and it looked tough. I love it. Big high’s and Big Low’s in this type of training but always extremely rewarding. Should’ve started this journey a long time ago, said everyone that tried this in their 30’s and 40’s. JiuJitsu ticks a lot of boxes fo...r me. It answers questions that I didn’t know I needed answers for... it can challenge your mind and body beyond what you ever thought the limits were. My ego has died a thousand deaths at the hands of my professors and teammates. I’ve driven home in silence contemplating a bad session, questioning everything as if it meant everything to me. It gets inside your head and makes you stronger. It makes your attention to the important stuff stronger, more significant. It makes all of the the little annoying day to day stuff small and weak. I am in the best shape and condition that I have ever been, in 44 years. My cardio, my strength, my mind. My next evolution. If you or your kids have that warrior spirit inside, go try this out. Isso torna sua atenção para as coisas importantes mais fortes, mais significativas. Isso torna todas as coisas irritantes do dia a dia pequenas e fracas.
