Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Barrie is now in the Covid Orange Zone. . How does this affect us? Mostly it is business as usual. . Small changes include:... Parents only allowed in the viewing area during the Junior classes if their child needs parental/guardian supervision. We ask that if you are able to stay in your vehicle while your child takes classes, that would be greatly appreciated. . As a reminder, we ask that everyone respects the maximum of 10 people in the parent viewing area. This will be a "First Seated - First Counted" Once we reach 10 people, the remainder will be asked to watch from outside. If on the other hand, you are always viewing, please consider allowing another parent (who may be coming from work or navigating construction to get here) who may not regularly get a seat. . Another reminder, we ask that students and parents remain in your car until 5 minutes before your class starts to allow us to properly sanitize for your class. It is important to come changed in your uniform as the changerooms are not to be used. During the winter season, please remove your footwear before having a seat. . We remain so greatful and appreciate your continued support and understanding! See more

Message of the Week

Gracie Humaita Barrie Canada 18.10.2020

Dear Students and Families, The LKS community is truly one of the most amazing and rewarding benefits of our workplace. Here, like minded families, wanting what’s best for their children, hoping to inspire them, grow their courage to peruse life’s dreams, develop life skills and work ethic that will serve them well in their years ahead, gather multiple times a week. Sharing family milestones, funny adventures among the siblings to favourite tried and tested recipes, parental... advice and anecdotes. We have the distinct pleasure and honour of watching children grow into amazing adults before our very eyes, it’s a perk of our work. Which brings me to the very difficult but important plea as a mother, to consider reading my piece that I contributed to my niece’s funeral. Santana was two months shy of her 21st birthday. Two years has passed already but unfortunately the urgent message still as relevant and poignant as it was then. Sandy
