Grade A Painters 01.02.2021

Grade A Painters has had a tremendous exterior painting season this year which is nearly at its end with in most years no additional exterior work starting after Oct 15, 2020. We have been fortunate for exterior work we have received during the Covid-19 pandemic have been very much appreciate all of the work we have received from our long list of regular clients or references from them. We have truly been blessed! That said, with the pandemic still not at its end and the... safer or less concerning work associated with the exterior season ending, I wanted to ensure our clients that Grade A Painters is aware of the concerns our interior clients may have and wanted to let you know that our employees already have or will be taking the specialized Covid 19 training course for contractors through www.nachi.org/covid-19-safety-standards.htm which has provided us all with the most up to date knowledge and practices to stop/slow the spread from taking place while painting interior residential properties and working inside your homes, condo's and places of business. Additionally, we are also willing to be tested 48 hours prior to any job start and will be wearing masks and gloves at all times when inside to ensure we are all have negative results and will not be bringing in any unnecessary risk to your homes or places of work during this difficult time. If you have an interior project and would require a quote or have any questions about our process, please feel free to call Christopher White our manager and owner at any time to discuss. Thank you and be safe during this difficult time. Christopher White See more

This is a recent semi-transparent stain application Grade A Painters completed in North Vancouver. The previous natural semi-transparent stain application, clear coat and dead/grey/damaged wood needed to be sanded down to remove anything that will prevent the new stain application from soaking in or interfering with the finish. As you can see in the 4th picture which was one of our test patches, the damaged or grey wood areas, once the stain is applied turns black. It is very important that you take the time to sand the entire door evenly, remove grey wood and prior coatings . The new semi-transparent coating itself takes an hour to apply, the prep at least 3-5 hours per door; but, it is the only way to guarantee a perfect semi-transparent finish. As always, call us if you have questions about your project. Bye for now!
