United Farmers of Alberta Co-operative (UFA), together with GrainsConnect Canada (GCC), announce a partnership that brings grain growers an exciting new opportunity with a premium. This pilot program offers growers the chance to maximize their returns on their 2021 canola crop with a discount of up to $12 per bag on UFA seed and $5/MT above posted bid prices from GCC. Last week we had the privilege to present a cheque and a card from all the Maymont site staff members to the Starycki Family in support of their 12 year old son Nate who has been recognized as a 'Hometown Hero' as part of the Children's Hospital Radiothon. The Starycki Family is an important part of the Maymont community, and we are deeply saddened to see their son Nate fighting for survival as he lives with intestinal and liver failure. We know the whole community is rooting for Nate and his family, and we're proud to support them in their battle.
