Thought I would share a special order I made for a customer for a Christmas Gift. She is a figure skating teacher + her husband ordered a pillow + matching table topper ..turned out beautiful!

Remember this? It is now a beautiful 75x96 quilt for a special family member! To give you an idea there is about $500. just for fabrics back+front, batting, long arm cost, + embroidery... not including the many hours cutting, sewing, embroidering, and 14 hrs just hand sewing the back of the binding which is almost done now! If you are ever gifted a quilt, cherish it for every stitch was made thinking of you :)

Sharing just a few of my last special orders ...Just give me a theme, tell me your colors, send pics of your room..My favourite gift to make are my pocket reading pillows which I've designed 100's in the past couple years! Most pillow orders until the end of the yr are $50. but due to the rising cost of fabric, pillow inserts, stabilizers, + the outrageous price of embroidery thread; I will unfortunately have to raise the price to $55. as of 2021. I charge very little for the 4+ hrs to design, cut, embroider, and sew these long lasting special gifts together + a name is always embroidered for free. This was made for some very special little girls..It is a Sunbonnet Sue embroidered Doll quilt to go in a 65 year old crib that was built by their great- grampa for their gramma..I topped it off with a new mattress and pillow while John restored + repainted it for them .. Wishing them many happy days with their Baby-dolls :)

GRAMPAS' at it again!! These are amazing, strong, comfortable on back + would be a perfect Fathers' Day gift for Dad, friends, Grampas: use for camping, fishing, sports events, etc..easy to transport + slide 2 pieces together + done! Corn ball outdoor boards done in epoxy, Jumbo Jenga anyone? I will have to get some pictures of his beautiful phone stand speakers made of beautiful pieced woods, his coffee pour overs, pieced wood coasters, and all his treasures he's been creating! I think he is really having fun + liking his isolation :)

While this Gramma sews away....Grampa has kept busy in his wood shop !! Making all kinds of neat Toys :) He's made all kinds of wooden walking animals too, they are awesome!!

Getting ready to start a new large quilt..I am excited!! This will take awhile :)

I've decided I am going to sell these 2 sampler quilts I made but haven't figured out the prices of materials yet..One is done in mostly Batiks and both are 100% quality cotton and very pretty. They will fit a queen size bed, pm me if interested..ty

Anyone need a Tooth Fairy Pocket? These are great to hang on childs' door so the tooth fairy doesn't have to search under a pillow + wake up sleeping Angels...Alot of requests lately, must be tooth-loosing season :)

I've actually been pretty busy making personal orders for several people! These are a few of the sturdy + lined drawstring bags I made for an EMS station to carry + protect their face shields + goggles they now wear. I embroidered their names and badge #'s on the front. Thank you for allowing me to help you all out during this new Covid world we are all enduring! BTW: I am now out of EMS fabric for now but I do have some police, fire+rescue, + nurse fabrics left if anyone needs a bag or other small items :)

Yeah!! The friendliest store in town is now open!! I have a display of my Reading/Pocket Pillows in Merlos' that have been sealed in their wraps since before Covid and were ready for Easter! I've also been working on some new fantastic gift items for Christmas, Birthdays, etc..I'll post when I'm ready and can always bring an item to the store for you to view in person :) Be safe, I highly recommend wearing a mask in public, and lots of washing your hands.
