In order to encourage members to pay their membership dues during the "Early Bird" period (September to November), the branch enters the early birds into a draw. One name is drawn each of those months and the branch pays the following year's dues on the winner's behalf! Congratulations to September draw winner, Doug MacLean, Octobers winner Lee Vandongen and November winner Gary Depatie. You, Comrades, are all paid up to 2023!

Nan Brooks presents a cheque for $4000.00 to Branch President Gerry Bezaire on behalf of Grand Bend Community Foundation. The money will go towards the purchase and installation of a new furnace for the Legion!

Catch the Ace ticket sales are currently suspended until a new lottery licence is issued. There will be no draw on Friday night. We will make an announcement when the lottery resumes. Thanks for understanding. The members' Pot o' Gold draw will go ahead and the winner (if there is one) will be announced on Friday! GOOD LUCK. "You gotta be in it to win it" so if you haven't signed the book you can't take home the cash!

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY! Due to construction, visitors are asked to use the UPPER NORTH entrance. (The one on the left closest to the ball diamond) when entering the building. Our hours of operation will remain the same. Thursday to Saturday 10 a.m. to 12 pm The lower doors will be locked.

Members can enter the Pot o' Gold draw on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays 10am to 12 Drop a toonie in the box and you could win! The draw is every Friday. It will be around $600 this week!

October 30th marks the beginning of the 2020 Poppy Campaign. Wear your Poppy proudly and give generously so we can continue to support Veterans and their families.

Can you tell there's a big smile behind that mask? Poppy Chair, Kelly Heafey gives a big thumbs up! The Poppy mailings are all completed and ready for the Post Office. Job well done!! When you get yours please donate generously. This is the Legion's biggest campaign of the year and we need you to help us help others. We only ask that you not wear your Poppy before the start of the campaign (Friday October 30th) and it be worn on the left side. Close to your heart.
