TO EVERYONE WHO PURCHASED PRESEASON LAPPING CERTIFICATES - if you purchased preseason lapping certificates you should be receiving information today by email. This is in regards to our new online registration system for lapping dates etc. If you do not receive it check your spam folder and add it to your trusted senders. THANK YOU On behalf of the team designing the program. I have received a few emails/questions re the new system. 1. For those with certificates Do I have to... preregister all my dates now - NO you have the option of doing that or registering anytime before the date you are looking for - provided there is still availability. I expect this year will be busy especially at the start as we have all been cooped up for way too long, so the farther out you register the better your chances. 2. Can I just call in a couple days before like we use to you. YES - but still subject to availability. Also you have to call during business hours, online you can do it anytime. 3. This seems like a lot of work - there is some work/time to get your original information loaded but once that is done it is pretty easy/quick. 4. Provides us all the info we need for contact tracing as required by the gov't. Allows us to credit your account if you can't make a date so we can track it easier. Allows me to go online and see how we are doing re attendance etc. vs always having to call the track to get that info. Reduces the phone traffic/paperwork for the girls in the office. I am sure there will be a few adjustments etc. that we will have to make as we go along, but in the long run it will be a better overall system than what we had before. ONE THING I MISSED - if you have certificates from last year that you didn't use you will need to call the office to register and let them know you have a 2020 certificate as those are not registered on accounts only the 2021 are.

ONLINE SALES WILL COME BACK ONLINE AT NOON SUNDAY APRIL 25th. We have completed the credits to accounts, and the refund requests for all sales purchased for events up to May 20th. Our first lapping program after the lockdown (hopefully it is not extended) is Monday May 24th Car Lapping. Sites 1-17 are along the main return road that the pit washroom is on ( site 1-11 to the left of it, 12-17 to the right). Sites 18-30 back onto sites 1-12 approx. Sites 31-37 are in the grass area on the other side of the pit road from sites 18-30 with the backside of these spots being the roadway that goes along the sound wall. The track office will be reopening on April 12th so people can call in after that to pay with a credit card or mail us a cheque, or if paying cash - pay when you come to track in May.

The online system is currently offline until we get some aspects sorted out. Stay tuned for updates. If we are able to open after this lockdown our first lapping day will be Monday May 24th.

Does anyone know who owns this trailer ? It has been at the track for a number of years now, and from my information is basically abandoned. We are planning on having it removed in the next week or so if not claimed.

2020 Thunder Series Championship Celebration. Was hoping that things might clear up somewhat by this spring so we could hold a celebration/banquet, but it certainly doesn't look like that is going to be the case. So our plan is to hold the 2020 Thunder Series Championship celebration on the stage Saturday night of our opening race weekend. (May 22nd). I will be contacting the class champions re jacket sizes etc. in the near future. Little Saturday night party to kickoff the season !

RE LAPPING DATES BOOKED ALREADY - This new lockdown order which is now scheduled until May 20th has forced us to take all road course events offline up to that date. We will be crediting everyone's account re your purchases. They will sit as a credit on your account and can be used toward dates in the future, OR we can process a refund thru PayPal, if you want a refund please email me [email protected] . It is my understanding that it will take at least a week before you will see the credit on your card. RE TRACK RENTALS - All scheduled rentals up to May 21st will be cancelled. If anything changes (restrictions are eased earlier than planned) we will notify you. In the meantime stay safe and we look forward to seeing all of you after this lockdown.

Here is the map of the annual rsvd pit spots available for 2021. They go from site 38 to 60 ( 58-60 are spoken for from last year). These are not spots where you can leave your trailers for the season(like spots 1 to37) they are just a rsvd spot where you can bring your trailer etc to for the event regardless of when you arrive. Some people will leave their units in the area by the road course and move them back and forth others will just bring their stuff each weekend and take it home. If you want to reserve one of these. email me or post on here. Once the office opens in April (12th) we will start processing reservations.Cost is $423.75 including tax. I will post up about sites 1-37 next week.

POSSIBLE LAPPING DAY NOV 7th - Looking at the long range weather all of next week is looking good - Wed thru Sat Sunny, 12 degrees or higher with Saturday Nov 7th calling for a high of 12 degrees and sunny. So we are looking to possibly add a lapping day for cars. If this forecast holds true until the first part of next week we will add it to the online registration.

We would like to express our gratitude to everyone that attended the 2020 Ontario Bracket Finals at GBM this past weekend. We not only had many of our regulars (whom we always enjoy seeing), but we also had the chance to welcome the best racers from all over Ontario. Just a clarification re confusion on our side. Like last weekend if you buy into the High Roller or Junior Gamblers and get knocked out you can T&T for the balance of the night. But Friday night T&T is available to purchase as well at $25.

Like we did last weekend - we will move the High Roller race to a 4;30pm start with one timetrial and then racing. We will add a Junior race based on the same program as last weekend as well.

IS THERE ANYONE COMING OUT OF THE NEWMARKET/BRAMPTON AREA for this coming weekend ? I am trying to arrange to get approx 10 -19L pails of VP race fuel to GBM for this coming weekend ( as we are currently sold out). Would contribute toward your fuel costs of getting to GBM. UPDATE RE FRIDAYS PROGRAM RE GAMBLERS - We have decided to adjust the program somewhat to hopefully make it more inclusive . So we are moving the start time to 4:30pm and adding a Junior Gamblers as well. Both programs will be one timetrial and go. Your entry fee includes T&T for the night (once you are eliminated from the race). Junior entry will be $50 (60% payback).
