We can all learn valuable life lessons from your actions and courage. I have watched your feeds for the last few days and found them Interesting to say th...e least. These are my thoughts... In the words of Albert Einstein " Everything is ENERGY and that is all there is to it. Match the frequency of the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way. This is not philosophy this is physics". So if we choose to follow physics 101 then we know we have the power to create higher frequencies or vibrations through our thoughts and actions. Welcome to GrandDad Cares Collective - Coming Together. GrandDad Cares was created with the BElief that everyONE is deserving of LOVE, compassion and respect. I...n the spring of March 2020 Covid_19 had been spreading globally. My family run ice cream shop created in my Dad's memory had not opened its doors for the season. My Dad was an incredibly loving and kind family man. Although he grew up in challenging times he was always helping others. Before he passed he asked me if he made a difference. Looking at the life he lived, I told him "YES, Dad I watched you as you reached out and helped anyone you could." I respected his love and compassion to everyone and anyone. His words stuck with me and I vowed to try my best to make a difference, NO MATTER WHAT. I was not sure if or when the shop would be opening. During the stillness of social distancing I felt a strong urge to reach out to our community. I thought if I could put some food hampers on the front porch of GrandDads Ice Cream Shop perhaps those in need could be helped. The week before Easter weekend April 2020 I purchased $100 worth of groceries to get the GrandDad Cares food relief started. As I set out my hampers of food on the front porch a kind man came by and asked what I was doing. I told him I was BLESSed to have my health, a home, food and a supportive family. I told him that even though the future of the shop was unsure I knew other's were suffering. I shared that I had a good platform and opportunity to reach out and support the amazing groups and organizations already providing community relief. He reached into his wallet and gifted me $100. Since then I have had an overwhelming outpouring from the community. You have reached into your cupboards, your pockets and your hearts. This is how it works my siSTARS and brothers. Trust, BElieve, ask for help and empower your communities. We have been given an incredible opportunity to re-set and re-evaluate. This is hope for our children and our children's children. I want you to know that EVERY offering helps! That one can of soup helps a mom feed her children, the masks you make help us protect others, the food donations, clothing donations, sharing of your time, it matters. The time is now to take action. I vow to make a difference NO MATTER WHAT, but I cannot do it alone. This is a collective, we want to hear your ideas. Through public outreach, networking and empowerment initiatives WE will create sustainable, loving communities that are stronger, connected and empowered So thank you to ALL of you! <3 Know that each and every one of you has played a part in this global shift and healing.
