Ahead of International Women's Day this Monday, March 8, the BC Girl Guides Youth Forum is busy hosting their first-ever virtual leadership conference for girls... ages 12-19. 719 tickets were claimed for 21 special sessions taking place this weekend, on topics like scholarships, mental health, careers, public speaking, and more. Canada Post has s...ent special postage-paid free postcards to every household in Canada. Write, address, and mail postcards together. If planning to tackle this project as a Guiding unit, just ask your families to set aside any blank postcards they receive. Our Guides are amazingly resilient and adaptable. This year we have been doing Virtual Meetings and staying connected in a pandemic. Our Leaders are learning new things with the Guides and building community within our group while we do it. Stay safe!
