Happy retirement Pearly! I'm so thankful to have this pony for the last 8 years she is the sweetest easiest most perfect pony ever. She has been there for all of my riders and taught them so much. Most of my riders first time on a horse was Pearl and then their first time trotting was on Pearl, learning their diagonals, their canter, their transitions, their leads all on this little pony. She works so hard and lives to please. She loves her job and her students. She will definitely still be around the barn for years to come but now as a spectator. Happy retirement Pearly, enjoy it before I change my mind!

Heaven gained a super pony last night Honey Pie Pony 1981-2021 Thank you Honey for every show, every clinic, every lesson, every trail ride, every beach day. Thank you for everything you were my highlight of my day every day since I was born. ... I will miss your little neigh every morning when I open the stable door, and how you greet all the lesson kids in the driveway, I will miss you tagging along for trail rides with no rider and hearing your little hooves on the cement floor. I will miss how excited my lesson kids get when they see you and I will especially miss explaining that you are supposed to be there when my neighbors call to tell me my pony is loose, because you prefer the grass on the other side of the fence. Thank you for the almost 22 years out of the 40 you have given to this world. My family, my students and I will miss you so much. We love you so much Honey

One day his coat won’t shine quite as bright, His eyes won’t sparkle quite how they used to. His legs will become tired and he’ll take a little longer to get u...p. He won’t come to the door when you bring his saddle out anymore and he’ll find those jumps just a little harder work than he did before. But he’ll never stop loving you. He’ll never stop waiting, with pricked ears, to hear you arrive in the morning. He’ll never stop grabbing your zip if you stand too close. He’ll never stop throwing his bucket over the door when he finishes his dinner. One day he'll grow old. One day his body will slow down and he will let you know it’s time to hang up the bridle. And when that day comes, give him a hug, hold him tight and thank him for everything. Give him days in grass filled fields under summer sun. Give him love, attention and never let him believe he is anything less than perfect. Don’t cast him out into a far away field to be glanced at for the rest of his time. Don’t hand him to the groom and downgrade him to the stable at the end of the yard. Don't try and pass him off to someone else as a companion and let him go somewhere strange and new at a time in his life when all he needs is you. Love him, exactly as you did when he was in his prime. He'll never stop loving you, so never stop loving him.

. When you're in the warm up at a show, and your legs are like jelly, because you feel like everyone is ...watching you, judging you. When you lose your way in your dressage test, and you leave the arena thinking everyone must be laughing at you. When you have a stop in the showjumping ring, and feel like everyone on the sidelines is talking about what a terrible rider you are. When you get eliminated cross-country, and feel like people must be wondering why you even bother to compete at all. When things aren't going your way, and you feel like people are judging you, questioning your abilities, wondering why you're even trying. Remind yourself of this - that people care a lot less about you than you think they do. Next time you feel nervous in the warm up, things don't go your way, you fluff up a movement, get lost, have a stop, or get eliminated - focus on you and your horse. Don't worry about what's going on around you - stay focused on your riding, how your horse is feeling, how you're feeling, and what you both need to do next. One step at a time. Don't worry about your fellow competitors in warm up - people are too busy worrying about themselves to worry about you. Don't worry about the bystanders, the onlookers, or what they're thinking. Chances are, they're not even thinking or talking about you - and if they are, they'll have moved on from you in a matter of minutes, and you'll be quickly forgotten about from their memory. Because, honestly - people care an awful lot less about you, than you think they do. And if you do come across those few who choose to whisper, who choose to judge - say to yourself " , ". https://shyshylovecheaton.typeform.com/to/U4miFcdm Everyone go vote for their favorite costume and make sure you share this link for your friends to vote! This week was the last week of lessons before winter break. We decided to have the students dress up for a Halloween Costume Contest! They have been working so hard this year that we also decided to have a prize. For every vote on their Halloween costume is a ballot in a draw to win a free riding lesson in the 2021 lesson season! They also get a bonus 3 ballots if they can ride in their costume!
