Every year we feature one fundraiser from our Justice and Compassion partners and today we are happy to share about the upcoming virtual fundraiser hosted by the Pregnancy Centre. The Pregnancy Centre supports women and children in vulnerable situations and cares for their needs in tangible ways. God loves these women deeply and we do too. Thank you Grandview family for your faithfulness and praise God for His provision. The goal was $36,000 for the Refugee family fund and to help launch an Arabic ministry in Waterloo Region. We are pleased to announce that $42,397.33 was given for this kingdom work. Good news!

Habits of the Heart and Participating in the Mission of the Church are being taught in our Learning Centre on January 10th. Hey Grandview Kids! Today our lesson is about Jeremiah, a prophet for God to Judah. We will learn about how God promised a new covenant through him. Which we will learn more about in the future and how it was fulfilled with the coming of Christ. Listen at the end for the questions from kids. An update from Pastor Bob: By now you have probably heard that as of December 26th, our province is being locked down in the fight against COVID-19. While there are many and diverse opinions as to the best way to fight this menace, we continue to support our government and believe them to be motivated by the public good. This Sunday and throughout the lockdown period, we will be streaming a live service at 9:00 AM as usual but without an in-house gathering option. A link to our weekly children’s bible lessons will be available for families to watch before the service or at their convenience.
