If you were a ribbon recipient at the Fall Horse Trials on Saturday, September 19th and did not pick up your ribbon, they will be available for pickup during our Wednesday, September 23rd Open Intermediate division. If you know someone attending, have them pick it up for you. If you require your ribbon to be mailed, please email [email protected] with your name, division, placing, and address.

REMINDER: Road Construction Travellers on northbound Highway 11, please note that the overpass at the 9th line is closed for the summer. The alternate route would be to exit at the 7th line instead and follow it to Old Barrie Road (2nd stop sign) where you would turn right to rejoin the 9th line (turn left) and follow that as usual.

Keeping track of all the required information to safely run the Event

Entries for Grandview Summer Horse Trials are now closed. In order to keep within Provincial and Public Health protocols, we really had to limit our numbers. Thank you to everyone who has expressed interest. Hopefully things will continue to trend well and we will be able to run again in the fall. Thank you to everyone who entered early! And another Huge thank you to the Lane’s End gang for coming and weed whacking our XC course; that was amazing!!! Congratulations to all the winners!

UPDATES to Grandview Summer Horse Trials: Please be advised that due to organizer injury the Summer Horse Trials will run on ONE DAY - Sunday, August 4 from Preliminary to Entry level. It will be up on Evententries in the next day or so.

Hi to all my equestrian friends. I’m writing to say please please when jumping your horse, make sure your saddle pad is attached to your saddle or girth for safety. Just over a week ago I suffered a devastating accident when jumping my young horse. Upon completing a novice show jump course here at the farm my horse became spooked and we parted company. I landed on my right hip. Broke the neck of my femur and I’m bedridden. One of the worst breaks you can have (only one I’ve e...ver had) as far as being mobile. It will be a long road back. I have schooled in ‘poly pads’ for many years without incident. I checked my girth tightness before jumping. Upon landing off the last jump my pad had slid out behind my saddle and landed on my horse’s butt. Totally freak. He’s one of the calmest nicest temperament horse I’ve had yet he panicked and bucked. A totally avoidable accident that I hope never happens to another rider. So please make sure your pad has loops that you can either secure it to your saddle or girth and you never end up like me....Bob See more

Updates to Grandview Spring HT: Tell your friends: Preliminary - test of choice. You can either be in the FEI 2-star B division or EC Prelim Test 1 division.... Intermediate will be using the FEI 3-star B test. We will also be offering the Advanced/Intermediate division, using the 4-star B test.
