This older home in the Point Grey neighbourhood of Vancouver had a modest renovation with the addition of a family room with rooftop deck, sunken patio and new garage. The design also incorporated geothermal and solar heat.

The client wanted to renovate the back of their home to enlarge the kichen, create a study looking out over the garden and develop a basement suite. The renovation also created a more functional raised deck and distinctive back entrance in keeping with the architectural style at the front of the home. The basement suite has its own private entrance that opens onto a colourful garden.
