If 2020 taught us one thing, it’s the resiliency of the Canadian business community. From adapting processes and business models to keep customers and employees safe, to working together to share best practices, Canada showed the world that, when it really comes down to it, we’re willing to work together for the greater good. This Canada Day, we have a lot to be proud of. Tell uswhat 2020 experiences have ignited your Canadian pride?
Although Pride month is coming to an end, let the spirit of love and acceptance live on. Happy Pride!

Food donations are plentiful during Thanksgiving and Christmas but what about the rest of the year? This is what James Wong, CPA - Oregon pondered when the Grant Thornton Kelowna office joined forces with Pro-Ex Transport Systems LTD, Ocean Trailer, Premier Graphics Inc., Real Canadian Superstore and Save-On-Foods to support Okanagan families in need during the summer months. Together, they launched Haul Away Hunger, a campaign involving a semi-truck traveling across the region collecting donations with the help of Grant Thornton volunteers. All donations will benefit the Central Okanagan Food Bank, Lake Country Food Bank and Vernon Salvation Army.
