December 1st already! I’m a little behind this year. But with no family or friends events ahead of Christmas planned I have a little extra time! Anyone else not feeling it this year? I would have loved to change up my decor this year, but time, inspiration and not wanting to spend the money had me putting up the same thing! Besides, no one will see if aside from my kids who don’t seem to have an appreciation for good design . But I did change up my mantle a bit. I was filming a Christmas video and had very little time to plan it, but I can’t believe how quick it came together! Stay tuned for my video coming soon. One positive thing about covid (trying to look on the bright side here folks!) is that I’ve really noticed people trying to support other’s businesses. I love this! So every Friday Im going to post some of my favorite accounts to follow, draw inspiration from and/or purchase from. Tonic Living has the most amazing fabrics cushions and ottomans. BIG HUGE EXCITING announcement! Our first episode of The Room Makeover Series on YouTube is live! We have partnered with @square and #VanWestDevelopments to produce this series. The first recipient of the Room Makeover is Rebecca Straforelli. My husband and both knew Rebecca’s husband Philippe growing up. When Rebecca married Phil, we too became fast friends. In December of 2019 Phil lost his battle with cancer. The world lost a loving husband and father to 4, but also ...a loyal friend, confidant, and incredible man of integrity. As Rebecca and her family are faced with a life without Philippe, I feel so blessed to be able to partner with @squareoneinsurance and #vanwestdevelopments to give them a fresh space. I can take credit for the sourcing of the chandelier. It was option 351 . But the brilliant idea of putting the entry chandelier on a winch for cleaning and light bulb changing was all the clients. CHURCH! It feels like forever since we have been at church as a family. We got to watch @theway_vancouver together with a few others in a barn. Couldn’t help but think about my Dad who would have LOVED our church. It was 6 years ago when my sister and I were driving home from the hospital and we saw a star fall from the sky. Moments later my mom called and said my Dad had passed. He would have turned 90 . #misshim

First day of school in the crazy year of 2020! Grade 9 & 12. Nothing like Eli going to high school during a pandemic! He is just so happy to be with his friends. Notice anything different? Eston has short hair for the first time in his life! #itwastime This is the year that the best grad class (in my opinion) since ‘93 (my awesome year) is graduating from PA! Many of the kids I graduated with are still my best friends and I know the grad class of 2021 will be friends for life! Praying for teachers students and admin and they navigate these crazy times!

Together again! Its been many weeks since we have been working out of the studio. 25 to be exact! We are cautiously ready to all come back to work. I love working with these ladies. We may get a little side tracked now and again, and we are mostly in different stages of life - but that’s what makes it interesting and what makes us such a great team.
