Beginning Thursday, Nov. 19, masks will be required in all indoor public spaces in Saskatchewan. Visitation to all long-term care facilities and personal care homes will be suspended, with the exception of compassionate reasons. Click article for details
The Saskatchewan government has announced they will provide $400 a month for two months to workers in long-term care facilities, personal care homes, integrated healthcare facilities and for home care workers providing care to seniors in their own homes. Click article for details.

The Indian Head RCMP are investigating a hit and run collision that occurred at about 10 a.m. on Nov. 3 in the town of Qu'Appelle. RCMP state that a large cube van delivery truck collided with a power pole just east of the tourist information booth causing the power pole to break and power lines to fall. Nobody was injured as a result of this but the vehicle did not remain at the scene or report it to the police. Residents of Qu'Appelle and area lost power for many hours in ...order for repairs to be made. The cube van did not have any specific markings on it, the storage area of the truck was white and the cab may have been green with a green front bumper. It is suspected that this truck backed into the power pole and caused the damage to it. If anybody has information on this, was involved or saw what happened, they are asked to contact the Indian Head RCMP at (306) 695-5200, call 310-RCMP for immediate response, or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Stolen Snowmobiles - Indian Head RCMP The Indian Head RCMP are investigating the theft of snowmobiles that occurred on October 14, 2020 at about 10:53 p.m. Suspect(s) broke into a compound of a business in Indian Head and they were driving a white panel van with no markings on it. The van backed up to a trailer that had two snowmobiles on it and left the compound seven minutes later with the trailer in tow. The trailer had Saskatchewan licence plate 410 KVS attached to it and the snowmobiles were a blue 2008 Polaris and a white 2012 Ski-Doo. If anybody seen something suspicious in the area or has knowledge of this incident, they are asked to contact the Indian Head RCMP at (306) 695-5200, call 310-RCMP for immediate response, or you can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

The addition of 40 new COVID cases in Saskatchewan bring the total to 2,270 cases reported (299 still active) since the pandemic started.
