It’s Money Monday! . . There are 6 Monday’s before Santa’s arrival and I’m thrilled to bring back my Money Monday - The Holiday Edition! .... . The holidays can be EXPENSIVE!! It’s easy to get caught up in the spirit of the season and over spend. From decor, to hosting, to gift giving to meeting friends and family for holiday cheer in restaurants; as a society many of us over spend and go into debt during the holidays. . . I can help! Every Monday I’ll be giving you my tips and tricks for staying on track financially. . . Make a list and check it twice! . . Write down everything you have to spend money on during the holidays. List groceries for gatherings, list everyone you’re buying gifts for, list clothing and decor or travel and every other area that you’ll be spending money on. Once your list is written, give a value to each list item. Add this total up and ensure you are comfortable spending that amount of money. Adjust your individual totals until the overall total matches what you are comfortable spending. . . Here’s the hard part... STICK TO THE BUDGET! When you’re shopping, know your budgets for each line item and don’t go over! Easy, right??!! . .
