We’re still here ! The Plant is humming away. The Ice is being maintained by our Ice Team, which would allow us to quickly open if allowed. We continue to monitor both Provincial and Simcoe Muskoka Health Unit directives. Yesterday, Ontario’s government officially extended its state of emergency and stay-at-home orders for an additional 14 days.... Originally enforced on January 12, the state of emergency will now expire on February 9, at the earliest, unless extended further. We’re hopeful, that if we return to Orange close to that date, we would quickly open to finish off our season. Stay tuned for an update closer to that date. Do you have an interest or know someone that would be interested in a "Learn to Curl" session this fall? We are considering running that program again in Nov. ** ATTENTION ** After careful consideration, the Board of Directors of the Gravenhurst Curling Club has resolved to close the curling club for the remainder of the season effective immediately. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the health and safety of our members are paramount and our top priority. Like other organizations and businesses around us, we are doing our part to minimize possible exposure and slow the spread of COVID-19. Scheduled end-season gatherings are also ...cancelled; however, we hope they may be rescheduled later this spring. In the next few days, we’ll provide the logistics for picking up your personal items from the club. Your patience and understanding is very much appreciated.
