I would like to thank our parents, dancers, karate students and teachers for their commitment to the studio this past few weeks. It was not an easy transition going from in-class to online but I truly thank you for supporting this way of teaching so we could get through December. It is not how I wanted to say "Toodles" and Merry Christmas to our kids, but the situation we are in this is what we have to do. I have no answers for our January start other than praying numbers de...crease and places & business's can start reopening. We are scheduled to start back January 4th, whether it be in person or online again for a few weeks, we will be doing that. I have to ensure our kids keep up with their love for dance and karate and we will all do whatever we can to keep that "NORMALCY" and to keep my business going and remain open in these very trying times. I wish you all a very Merry Christmas, a very sincere and grateful Thank You and a BIG CHEERS to end 2020 and bring on a much safer and happier 2021. Good Afternoon Families, Again with a saddened heart and the way things have unraveled in the last couple days, it is only the right thing to do. The studio will be closing its doors as of today Sunday, March 15th until we resume back after Spring Break. Regular scheduled classes will resume March 30th, I say that with positivity and hope. I feel isolating the studio for the next 14 days is due diligent and doing our part as best we can right now. Your children and families... are my number one priority to keep safe and healthy and if I may be frank...Miss Twy's little cess pool of a studio and social distancing is impossible! There isn't enough cleaner available right now anyways to keep it germ free in every class! LOL We need humour right now! And I need our dancers and students in full health when we resume! Everything right now is POSTPONED not CANCELLED. I understand this brings a lot of questions and a lot of unknowns and I don't have the answers for you. As we know things are changing daily and hourly, we have a social responsibility and we do not want to be a liability to any of our dancers and their families. We have to follow the AHS guidelines and respect the advise on ceasing all recreational activities. Parents, THANK YOU!! I have had many texts, emails and calls and I thank you so much for your kind words, many tears have been shed these last couple days but we will be resilient, strong and get through this as a community and family. I will stay hopeful and hope you do too. Miss Laura and I have some great news though! We are collaborating and putting together some online classes to keep your kids moving and getting their exercise! Stay tuned as we work efficiently to get this up and going! We will keep dancing, we will keep our dancers going and we will get through this! I ma hoping we can do the same for karate too! Gotta get Ed and Garnett to gear up and help out with this hahaha! If you have things to share with your kids dancing at home or with friends, post them! Hi everyone, Well....I’m at a loss of words. It’s a very sad day today in the dance world. I’m very sorry if anyone got to the theatre before finding out. Please know I was at the theatre setting up, doing lighting and sound and setting props when the announcement came. At about 4:15 The theatre had to make a call and abide. They confirmed with the city council that we had to cancel this evenings performance. I like the word postponed as that’s exactly what’s going to happ...en. Do I know when, no. Do I have any idea how this will happen, no. When I do, you all will be the first to know. Please know the only way I could get out the info to sooo many people was FB, my phone, emails and texting was blowing up and I did my best. Some very sad dancers, teachers and guests this evening. As you may have seen already, the Arden Theatre has now closed their doors and More Vibe has been cancelled/postponed. I know no details yet. We are all in chaos trying to figure things out. When I know more answers about things I will inform you. I do not know about solo/duet show tmrw. I’ll be contacting the Town Office in the morning to see what our options are. I’ll keep posted. Thanks everyone. I’m truly saddened by tonight.
