When Gray & Co. got its start in 2009, Paola Sartori was first to join our team, and she’s been a driving force in our evolution ever since. Whether it be for work or pleasure, Paola is always exploring new global destinations. However, as a result of the pandemic, she has spent the past 80 days in her Argentine hometown. This is by far the longest stretch of time Paola has gone without travel in the past 30 years. She says: Staying put has given me time to reflect on many t...hings, including the importance of freedom. In Argentina, we’re not currently permitted to exercise outdoors, which is something I really miss. I’ve also come to realize what a significant part of my life my Gray & Co. career has been and how lucky I normally am to live with every right and privilege. For now, I’ve found new routines, am cherishing time with my parents and anxiously awaiting the day I can travel again. Today was meant to be the start of a Gray & Co. cycling trip through the sweeping hills of Country Kerry, Ireland. Alas, our team and our clients remain hunkered down at home and we’ve rescheduled for the fall. Climbing to the top Healy Pass, spinning through small villages and past emerald green countryside will have to wait as will Lorge Handmade Chocolates and celebratory pints of Guinness. INTRODUCING CAROLYN! Canadian-born Carolyn Werry's passion for travel was ignited by a gap year of globetrotting and international volunteer work in Southeast Asia and Africa.
