#mondaymotivation I feel like we need to focus on some gratitude, counting our blessings, and being thankful today! You are holding a cup of coffee when someone comes along and bumps into you or shakes your arm, making you spill your coffee everywhere.... Why did you spill the coffee? "Because someone bumped into me!!!" Wrong answer. You spilled the coffee because there was coffee in your cup. Had there been tea in the cup, you would have spilled tea. *Whatever is inside the cup is what will spill out.* Therefore, when life comes along and shakes you (which WILL happen), whatever is inside you will come out. It's easy to fake it, until you get rattled. *So we have to ask ourselves... what's in my cup?"* When life gets tough, what spills over? Joy, gratefulness, peace and humility? Anger, bitterness, harsh words and reactions? Life provides the cup, YOU choose how to fill it. Today let's work towards filling our cups with gratitude, forgiveness, joy, words of affirmation; and kindness, gentleness and love for others. {Reposting although I don’t know the original source because it spoke to me!}

What do you do for self care both mentally and physically? How often do you pamper yourself? I have this treatment every month to strengthen and repair my chemically treated hair. Along with weekly maintenance with the Awapuhi Wild Ginger keratin treatment step 2 of this two step treatment.... When I first went blonde, also the first summer having my trailer in St. Martins....a week of sun and salt water if the Bay of Fundy. My hair became so dry and brittle I was referring to it as "Hay Hair" because when I squeezed it it crunched like dry hay under your feet walking through a field. I feared that I was going to have to cut it all off and start growing it out again fresh. I have never seen a treatment (in the almost 30 years experience in the beauty industry) that could do in 1 treatment what this did for my hair. It felt like brand new Hair

Question?? How do you like your coffee? Sometimes towards the end of the week I need stronger coffee to get moving. This morning my coffee is a #6.... someone didn't pick up milk.... Normal I like a #4.
