The Great Canadian Truck show is built on one very simple principle. Family, Friends and Memories Yesterday while checking out at Shoppers Drug Mart in Toronto our cashier Sandra noticed the shirt I had on. It was one of the first ones made with one of our partners Flamboro Speedway embroidered on the sleeve. She asked if we were involved in racing to which we responded no but that we were involved with the truck show. At that point she took a breath and proceed to tell us t...hat her great grandfather from Courtland, Eugene Lambert, use to run a transport company sometime ago around the forties. Sandra also recalled another memory of a truck show at Cayuga Speedway when the big rigs came to race in Ontario. It was a great reminder to why we are so passionate at The Great Canadian Truck Show. Keep the memories alive and share the stories. Now it's not over just yet. We went back to the truck, pulled out one of this years hats and went back into the store to present her with one. She was so appreciative and we're sure she will wear it with pride.
First weekend of spring and what a great weekend its been. Sunshine both Saturday and Sunday. A Saturday evening fire and burgers on the barbeque this afternoon. So looking forward to more weekends like this all summer long. If we all do our part maybe some sense of normalcy will return. A lot of people to see this summer. A lot of family and friends we couldn't see last summer that we are looking to catch up with very soon. The Great Canadian Truck Show Family... Friends and great times See more
Warmer temperatures on the way. Longer days and spring just around the corner. Who doesn't want to sit beside a fire with family and friends. Let's see your summer pics from past year's.
2020 was a difficult year for many people. Family gatherings to a minimum, weekend bbq’s cancelled, no fall fairs, truck and tractor pulls cancelled and most truck shows cancelled. Lets put last year behind us and look forward to the summer of 2021. Recently I paid a complement on a new truck that had just hit the road. The drivers response. I can’t wait to show it so people can see the work they do... referring to the details put in at the build shop. There are a lot of be...autiful trucks running the roads everyday keeping our economy rolling. Behind each of those amazing trucks is an idea or concept. An idea for the lights, the paint or the chrome accents that makes the trucks appearance come to life. I personally don’t drive but admire the hard work and pride put into each of these trucks. Last summer I missed seeing these trucks, the drivers and their stories. I missed the friends that I have met at these events and the late night shenanigans. Lets all do our part to make the summer of 2021 a summer to reconnect. See you soon!
To all our families and friends. Happy New Year's Looking forward to seeing what 2021 brings.
This past weekend I decided to jump in the car and head outta town. Hope you’re all staying safe
