As you may have heard, the domestic political situation has escalated to a breaking point, particularly for churches in western Russia. A law was passed in the Duma, the lower house of the Russian Parliament, banning teaching without a permit. This ban also applies to all educational activities on social media, spanning from car repairs to booking music lessons. We ask you to remember the churches in Russia, its members and employees with your prayers. Presently, we are receiving reports of both good and bad news from Russia. Last week, an email arrived from our colleague Juri, with good news that 50,000 copies of printed materials for evangelism were hot of the press, as seen in the photo above from the Central Siberian printing house. As well, good news that 200,000 copies of the Gospels of John are currently in the works and will keep the printing house humming along for a while. We also received a video showing evange...lism teams serving in Siberian villages together. Churches in cities across Russia have been receiving the printed books in Irkutsk, Vladivostok, Sochi, Bratsk, Saratov, Perm, Vladikavkaz, Omsk, Chelyabinsk, Krasnodar, Kaliningrad, Barnaul, Sevastopol, Novorossiysk, Kurgan, Krasnoyarsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Ufa, Volgograd, Novosibirsk and Juzhno-Sakhalinsk. While there are limitations to some facets of evangelism within the country, the literature ministry has miraculously been allowed to continue at least for now. Saudi Arabia, Talal Talal recently contacted us via WhatsApp. He already knew Christianity was a religion of peace, but he was afraid to get to know it better because he knew that if he gave up Islam in his own country, it would result in death. For several years he worked in Kuwait and met Christians from the Philippines and Egypt who warmly received him as a friend. He saw peace and love within them. Talal wrote to us, "Contrary to what Islam teaches, I realized that it is ...my right to choose a God who saves me, and gives me eternal life." Talal continues, I saw a vision before I arrived in Kuwait. In it, I saw three men with me in a dark room, one of whom gave me an old book. When I received it from him, I experienced deep peace. Later, when I traveled to Kuwait, I remembered this dream when I entered a church out of curiosity. There I saw the Bible and it looked exactly like the book the man gave me in a dream! Talal asked our team to help him learn more about the God of the Bible. We began a joint study with him so he could get to know who Jesus is and what he has done for Talal. We also sent him a video explaining Jesus’ sacrificial death. Talal joyfully received the gospel and the Word of God. The light of Christ has replaced the darkness in his life. Talal currently lives in Saudi Arabia.

Ahmad called our follow-up team and shared that he is now committed to a church after he had stopped attending for two years. He shared that he was healed from a sickness one week after calling our follow-up team. Ahmad apologized for not sharing his healing miracle with us before. He is so thankful that the Lord was glorified through his healing, which has been a great testimony for his family as his sister started attending church with him. - Ahmad from Jordan
