As you may know our last event in November was a huge success, having a turnout of over 30 participants. On March 10th, 2017 from 4:00pm to 5:30pm GVYBA is hosting another entrepreneurial event. This time we are very fortunate to have the opportunity to tour the prestigious Hunter Dickinson Inc. (HDI) office downtown. While at HDI, the staff there will provide a brief introduction... of the company and then go on to give a talk on different energy sectors, finances, and much more! GVYBA is the first of its kind, connecting youth across Greater Vancouver with opportunities to get involved with business and entrepreneurial activities in their local region. Bridging the gap between business and entrepreneurial organizations seeking volunteers and youth eager and passionate about helping out, the GVYBA allows youth members to find opportunities that closely match their interests and passions in business and entrepreneurial opportunities. This month, we are... proud to have Investment Advisor, Kyle Tsai, from RBC, speak with us on November 20th about venture capitalists, who they are and what they do. Come out for engaging speakers, meeting other business-interested youth, food and drinks, and generally a fun time! The virtual stock market is a free, online stimulation where youth can explore and operate stocks in our partnership website. We created this because we wanted youth to have a first-hand experience in the Stock Market, without having to invest their own money in it and later regret it.
