How are you, comrades? These are challenging times for all of us, in many different ways. Our frontline workers are providing round-the-clock services that are keeping Ontarians safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our hats off to them. While we haven't been able to get together to do the work GTAC usually engages in, our delegates and allies (that's you!) have been busy tirelessly pushing for fairness and support from all levels of government. For our members, for the Ontarian...s they support, and for our neighbours and communities. This post is a megathread. Drop your petitions, your groups and pages, your favourite progressive news sites, your newly discovered podcasts and YouTube channels, the solidarity-themed children's groups or classes your kids have found, educational content, free webinars and Zoom meetings, any cause you think we should engage in. Our ask is that you include two sentences along with your share: describe the content you're sharing, and explain why OPSEU members and allies should check it out. Solidarity forever! Our union makes us strong

GTAC Chair Laura Thompson has reached out to the President's Office to inquire about a deadline extension for Convention submissions, so that we can reschedule the meeting and get your resolutions and constitutional amendments in on time. We commit to keeping you in the loop as a strategy is developed. Thank you for your understanding. In solidarity, The Greater Toronto Area Council executive
