To begin the month of May, the brethren participated in many activities that were approved by the Church Administration.These activities ranged from a blood donation activity that is still ongoing for the entire month of May, to backyard gardening 2021 edition, chapel beautification and a meeting of all households in preparation for the week long Evangelical Missions starting May 10 - May 16. The brethren will continue to remain active and united with all the activities that are launched and approved by the Church Administration. All praise to our Almighty God!

Despite the on going pandemic, the brethren from the District of Greater Toronto continues to hold Evangelical Missions to intensify the works of propagation. On November 15, 2020 at 8:00PM, a French Evangelical Mission was held and the brethren all over the district actively participated through video conferencing and invited their friends and loved ones. The brethren will always stay united with the Church Administration by continuing to propagate the words of our Almighty God!

On Saturday September 19, 2020 at 10:00PM EST a special worship service was led by our beloved Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, which was held via videoconferencing from the Philippines in Templo Central for the School for Ministers graduation and ordination of ministerial workers. This special worship was attended via videoconferencing by the SFM faculty and students of the Toronto Extention along with the ministers, ministerial workers with their respective ...families, and also the families of the newly graduates of the School for Ministers. In line with the call of the Church Administration to always intensify the work of propagation, the District of Greater Toronto conducted a special gathering on Monday September 21, 2020 for all bible students and candidates for baptism via WebEx. The purpose of this gathering was to edify and strengthen their resolve and faith for them to remain on their journey in becoming full pledge members of the Church of Christ.

Health officials in Canada predict that a second wave of COVID-19 is imminent throughout the country. But despite this fact, it has not deterred the members of the Chruch of Christ in the District of Greater Toronto. Following the strict guidelines set by the Church Administration and the Canadian government, 2 out of 4 baptisms have been carefully conducted. This is in line with the call of the Church Administration to intensify the work of propagation while still following the safety protocols of health officials. This active response is due to the members holding on to what is written in (I Peter 1:13 ERV) "Put all your hope in the grace that will be yours".

As the members in the Binhi organization prepare themselves for the upcoming school year, it is necessary that while they are still growing up, they need to be guided and be reminded to stay on the right path which will lead them to salvation. That is why, in connectin to the 11 years of successfull leadership of our beloved Executive Minsiter, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, the District of Greater Toronto took the opportunity to hold a Binhi Friendship Day to not only promote ...camaraderie and unity amongst the young members, but to also teach them the importance of staying strong and steadfast in their membership. It is of utmost importance that the binhi members do not deter from their faith amidst all the problems and temptations that surrounds them because the blessings they will attain as members of the Church of Christ is insurmountable and will be beneficial for them in this life and in the life to come. With that being said, the Church Administration has created "CBI" or "Christian Brotherhood International" so that the Church of Christ members can feel comfortable knowing that even though they are studying at their own respective schools, they have that assurance that they are not alone, but instead they are being supported by their fellow members and most espically the Church Adminstration through CBI. That is why, for the past few weeks, the brethren from all over the District travelled to the different blood donation centres to continue to offer a helping hand by means of donating blood. ... All praise and Glory to our Almighty God!!

Despite the fact that Worship services are being conducted via Webex, the brethren are still eager to fulfill their obligation to never neglect the properties and chapels of the church. In light of this, the brethren still found time in their busy week to conduct general cleaning in the different properties and chapels in the District.

Covid-19 has brought in new obstacles not only for people but also for the Church of Christ, more in regards to conducting baptisms. But despite that fact, more and more people are still being baptized even to this day. Proof of such can be found amongst the different districts not only in the Philippines but also in the countries around the world. One district, in particular, that was able to achieve such a tremendous feat was the District of Greater Toronto. Such victory w...as attained by constructing 6 baptismal pools to accommodate each of the candidates for baptism, while still abiding by the rules and regulations set by the government. It is truly the work and love of our Almighty God through the leadership of the Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo. Manalo that acitivities such as these are still able to be successfull depsite this pandemic and other hindrances around us. All Praise unto our Almighty God!

As the pandemic COVID-19 still continues to grow, the Church Administration through the leadership of the Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, has urged the entire Church to continue to do their part not only as citizens of each country but also as members of the Church of Christ to continue to fulfill their obligation that "whenever you possibly can, do good to those who need it" (Proverbs 3:27 TEV). That is why, on August 8 & 10, 2020, the Ministers and Workers,... along with their families and the brethren in the district of Greater Toronto donated blood to Canadian Blood Services in their different locations throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Coinciding with that, the brethren also donated thousands of vitamin C bottles to the families in the Philippines to help them fight off this pandemic. We thank our Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo for approving such activties in our district, and for giving us these types of opportunities to help give back to our fellowmen.
