GKSS Spring 2020 Sale Is Cancelled Due To COVID-19 Since our last update the COVID-19 situation has evolved significantly. In order to follow the orders of the local, provincial and federal governments, we are cancelling the Spring 2020 Great Kids Stuff Sale on April 25th. Currently, the next sale on October 17, 2020. We will accept items from all seasons. ... GKSS supports many local charities. During this time, there are many families in great need. If you would like to provide a financial contribution, the following are a list of organizations we have previously supported. GKSS SPRING 2020 COVID-19 UPDATE We want to assure you that health and safety of our community and the families we serve is our first priority. In the past week the developments in COVID-19 have meant we are living in a changed world. The reality is containment requires many changes: big and small. As you may know the Spring GKSS sale is currently planned for Saturday, April 25th. We want you to know we are currently looking into options including: postponement or cancellatio...n. We will provide another update to you by April 5th once the school quarantine has ended. We hope to know more about what is possible and have updated guidance from public health authorities on policies for public gatherings and better estimates on timelines. In the meantime, here are a few updates about GKSS: Vendors: you can still register to be a vendor and tag items. If we postpone OR cancel the sale your tags will roll over to the next sale. Volunteers: if you have registered to volunteer we will keep you on our list and update as we have more information. Once we know if/when the sale will take place your safety is our top priority. Charities: we know that our community partners count on the sale to help many families in need around the GTA. However, we also respect that many have needed to pause donations at this time. We will work together with our charity partners to ensure your needs are met and your wishes are followed. Sponsors: current sponsorships will roll-over to the next sale. We value your continued support of GKSS. Shoppers: This sale is by parents for parents and we know that many of you mark your calendars and plan your family budgets based on GKSS. We are so lucky to have such a loyal group of GKSS shoppers. We appreciate your patience and support as we navigate these new realities. We do personal pulls for families in need and support over a dozen charities that help ensure nothing goes to waste. It all goes to a good place!
