I thought some of you might like to know about this effort by Adidas to recycle plastic from the oceans into shoes. I love anything that anyone does to help the oceans and try and support those who do. https://returntonow.net//adidas-makes-shoes-plastic-ocean/

This building will suck up 14 tons of CO2 and produce 9 tons of oxygen each year! It's completely covered in vegetation, making the building change color with t...he seasons! Best of all, the tower will be able to produce 65% of its energy needs thanks to thousands of solar panels! @stefanoboeriarchitetti is the architect studio turning cities into urban forests, and their latest project in Milan, Italy takes urban greenery to new heights. The project will connect Biblioteca Degli Alberi Park with a laboratory greenhouse to educate about sustainability and building reuse. Let's see more concrete jungles turn into actual jungles! @stefanoboeriarchitetti via IG

108,000 trees planted in Bhutan Prince's honour Imagine getting 108,000 trees for your birthday present! Well that's exactly what this new baby prince from Bhu...tan, a tiny mountain country in the Himalayas, received. Tens of thousands of people turned up to help celebrate Prince Jigme Namgyel Wangchuck's birth by planting 108,000 tree saplings. Bhutanese people take nature conservation very seriously and by law 60 percent of the country must always be under forest cover. Many of the people who live in the country are Buddhists, and in Buddhism trees are symbols of long life, health, beauty and compassion. Dasho Karma Raydi, who was among the volunteers taking care off the trees said: "We are now nurturing the plants as if we are nurturing the little prince''. This isn't the first epic tree-planting session that Bhutan has taken part in. In 2015 the country set a Guinness World Record by planting almost 50,000 trees in just one hour. Via @bbcuk
