I've been thinking about priorities and how for many years I felt that I was too career driven and beat myself up for the time that I missed with my family. Looking back, I made some realizations that I wanted to share with you. In my latest article I take a look at the demands that society (and COVID) has placed on us and that quality over quantity is definitely the measure we should be looking at. If you ever need a reminder that you are enough, don't hesitate to reach ou...t. I will help you realize that you are and always have been enough! And always remember, You Are Already Greatness! Stay safe, Sarah https://greatnessmagnified.com/i-am-enough-and-so-are-you/
This is Mental Health Week in Canada so let's talk. I know I'm not the only one out there who has seen the rising stats of how COVID has sent mental health issues soaring, so what can we do to help? In my latest article, I share some of the mental health issues that my family has endured and some ideas on how we can all cut ourselves a break during this tough time. It's time that we talk openly about mental health issues and reduce the stigma so those in need feel better ab...out reaching out for support. If there's anything I can do to help you I encourage you to send me a message. I promise to be a friend, sounding board or whatever you need and do my best to point you in the right direction. I think many people looking forward to the new year thought that 2021 would bring about a quick change for the better. But here we are, still in the midst of the pandemic and experiencing another lockdown that continues to keep us separated from each other! I thought we could all use a little bit of fun this week, so in my latest article, I talk about the woes that 2021 has brought and how we can turn those negative thoughts into something positive. Would you like some help... to create your greatness? Just reach out and I'll be there to help you turn that woe into something wonderful. Moving into 2021 brings with it a lot of hope for a new beginning, an end to the pandemic and moving toward a more normal time for all of us. That being said, we aren't quite there yet, so let's take the time and effort to thank and celebrate those who have sacrificed for the greater good. In my latest article, I talk about the "Invisible Greatness" or unsung heroes that have kept us safe, fed, cared for, educated, and really anyone who has had to keep on keeping on througho...ut this past zany year! I believe it's up to us to recognize and make sure they know how much they are appreciated now and especially after the pandemic. If you would like ideas or help creating your own atmosphere of appreciation, please connect with me. I promise to always be there to help you celebrate the greatness all around you too. Stay safe, Sarah https://greatnessmagnified.com/recognizing-the-invisible-g/
Leaders from all over ask many of the same questions about how to leverage the exponential power of recognition. In an effort to inspire you to sincerely appreciate your team, I am sharing a few questions that I know will help in this uncertain time. In my latest article, you will find answers to 3 questions that I am frequently asked after a training session on how to appreciate and motivate your team. Whether virtually or in person, they are almost always the same. If you... ever want to have a chat about putting your best recognition foot forward, I am always here to listen and help. https://greatnessmagnified.com/3-ways-to-recognize-and-mot/

As we continue to move through the pandemic, I'm certain that there have been times when we've all been feeling overwhelmed and less than motivated. The lack of motivation can seep in when we’re on a steep learning curve. And this year has been showing us a constant barrage of change that keeps us learning new systems and processes. In my latest article, I share a some great ideas about how to turn those feelings around and look at it as an opportunity to figure out what's ...working and what isn't. Keep in mind that we're all going through this together and now is a great time to share this information with someone you know that may be having a difficult time staying motivated. I'm guessing we all know somebody who is struggling a bit. If you have questions or need a little help finding your mojo, don't hesitate to reach out. I'm always happy to help if I can. https://greatnessmagnified.com/3-hacks-to-get-motivated-in/
Over the past couple of weeks many of you shared great reasons for conducting pulse surveys, not least of which is creating a wonderful employee experience. That should always be top of mind for management. In my latest article, I talk about why the employee experience matters and how to ensure that your surveys are hitting the right marks to get you the most accurate and helpful data possible. This is the last of a 3-part series on Employee Engagement Surveys. ... I hope you have found them helpful in getting to the what, why and how of measuring what matters to your employees the most. If you have questions, I would be super happy to connect and help in any way that I can! https://greatnessmagnified.com/employee-engagement-surveys/
