We love getting updates from our puppy families! Here is Luna (formally yellow collar) from our Piper/Lucky litter. She is beautiful!

Its always tough to say goodbye but seeing how happy our clients are to see their puppy for the first time is worth it. Some of our families have been waiting since August for this day! All our pups are headed to loving families that will give these pups the best life. Piper is officially retired. Our clients who got to meet Piper know she has an amazing temperament. Piper isn't going anywhere and will be with us forever. Piper will still be involved in our business as she is a excellent demonstration of the temperament we look for in our dogs.

We want to wish a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you and your families. We hope the furry additions to your families this year adds a little extra joy to your Christmas and Holiday season.

Today was the pups first time eating puppy mush. We grind puppy kibble into a fine dust and mix it with Goats milk and warm water until it is a runny soup. The first time is always fun to watch as most of the mush is eaten off their siblings than out of the bowl.

We are proud to sponsor the Leeds Grenville Emergency Services Charity Hockey Tournament in support of Boots On The Ground - Peer Support for First Responders. This organization provides a much needed resource to first responders suffering from a mental health crisis.

We are excited to share with you our winter litter with Piper and Lucky. Last night around 10:30pm Piper went into labor. Four and a half hours later we all settled in for the night with 8 new additions to the Great Scott family. 5 girls and 3 boys, with a beautiful array of coloring and markings. We could not be happier to share this litter with our clients who will be receiving Pipers last litter of her breeding career.

We are happy to pass on that Lucy has found a new home! Thank you to all of you who reached out to us. We take re-homing our dogs very seriously. In our contract we require our clients to contact us if they are no longer able to care for their dog. We will work with them to re-home their dog. In this case our clients had some serious health changes and felt like they could not provide the home that Lucy deserved. Not only did we drive 500km to pick up Lucy but we found her a loving family that will give Lucy the best life any dog could have. Being responsible breeders means that we ensure our dogs never end up in a shelter or rescue.

Meet Lucy; Lucy is a four month old Australian Labradoodle from our Piper&Cymry litter. Lucy will mature to 35-40lbs the perfect medium size. Lucy has done extremely well with her training. She has attended puppy classes and her house training is almost completed. She is very well socialized and loves other dogs. She is curious and enthusiastic with people. She is crate trained and sleeps through the night. She loves to be active play fetch and go for walks. Lucy's family is ...devastated that they are no longer able to care for her after some changes in their health that will take away from their ability to give her the life they feel she deserves. They have contacted us asking for us to begin the search for a family had hoped to be for her. Kathryn and I are heart broken for these two amazing people. They waited 5 months for her only to have serious changes in their health. Sunday was Lucky's 1st Birthday! Lucky is the sweetest boy with an amazing temperament. We cant wait to pair him with Piper for our next litter later this year. The two of them will have medium sized puppies with beautiful apricot, fleece coats. These two make for quite a match with their loving personalities and gentle nature. Lucky lives with his amazing Guardians and his best friend (also named Piper). He certainly is living the best dog life.

By the pics you can see Teddy is adjusting to his new home. We just love him... Teddy loves being outside & absolutely loves the boat. He is happy & so playful. This week we said goodbye to a few more of our pups! We have had a great time meeting all our families over the past two weeks. We hope these puppies give to you the happiness, love and companionship that our dogs have given us. We can't wait to see updates in the months and years to come.

We started to say goodbye to some of our pups over the weekend! It is bittersweet for us. We have come to love all of these puppies and hate to see them go. We let them go knowing each one of them is going to an amazing family. We don't want our clients to have any puppy. We want them to have the right puppy. We get to know them and they get to know us through our weekly updates. We take our time to get to know our clients so we can ensure that our pups are headed to a home where they will be safe and be loved. We pair our families with a puppy that has the temperament and personality to suit their lifestyle. This marks the end of our first litter and we are already planning for the next! Stay tuned!

Its a bittersweet week for us as the final count down is on. Go Home Day is coming and we couldn't be more excited to give these puppies to their pawrents and sad to see them go. Each one of these pups has a unique personality. They all are incredibly sweet with wonderful dispositions. Our families range from retired couples, to parents with young children..A few of our pups are off to families who will train them as emotional support and service dogs. We know that each of these dogs are going to excellent homes where they will create an unbreakable bond with their family, be loved and be cared for.

Puppies are 1 month old! They are growing like weeds! They are slowing being weaned off Piper and are eating their mush 3 times a day! We have expanded the pen again to give them more room to roam around. Potty training has begun and the pups are already using the grass mats consistently. Puppies are 3 weeks old! This week we have seen huge strides in their development. Everyones eyes and ears are open. Everyone is walking and today was their first time eating mush! The bedding was white before they started eating/crawling through it. Not sure if more mush ended up in their tummies or on the bedding.

Puppies are days away from walking! Most of them are taking a few steps here and there! They are playing and starting to growl at eachother! We are excited to announce our litter is SOLD OUT!

Time flies! Puppies are two weeks old and growing like weeds! They are scooting around the pen and are close to taking their first steps. All puppies will be at least two pounds in the next few days! Their eyes are opening and they are gaining independence as their physical development slows and their growth picks up. Once their eyes and ears are open it will be a whole new world for them and a lot of fun for us as the puppies begin to play, growl and bark at each other. Puppies are 1 week old! They are growing like weeds and all have doubled their weight. Piper is eating 3 big meals a day with supplements to help with the large demand for milk! She is such a good momma meticulously cleaning and stimulating her babies. We have some new pictures on the website! We have 2 spaces available on Pipers litter reservation!

Monday morning Piper began to show signs of early labor. Her temperature had dropped. She began to isolate herself and den. Last night at 8pm Piper began to have contractions. 11 puppies later Piper called it a night at 4:30am. Her litter has 6 girls and 5 boys. Pipers maternal instincts kicked in right away. From start to finish she was running the show with minimal help from us. We had all hands on deck for our first litter. Thank you to Michelle Walker from Waltzing Matild...as Labradoodles for coming down to help us! The timing couldn't have been more perfect as Michelle made it from Baltimore Maryland to our house in time for Pipers first puppy to be born. Both our mothers were on hand to provide puppy care and give us support as we experienced our first delivery. At the end of the night everyone was exhausted but no one more so than Piper. She has not left her babies side all day. She is meticulously cleaning and caring for her puppies. We are very thankful for the help and support we have received from Michelle since beginning this journey. We have space left on Pipers puppy reservation!
