The Government of Ontario announced that it is moving Toronto into the highest level of restrictions (lockdown) as of Monday, November 23rd, for a minimum of 28 days, to limit community transmission of COVID-19. In light of this development, the Consulate General of Greece in Toronto will suspend, for the aforementioned period, some of the services it provides that require in-person attendance. Scheduled appointments for the renewal of Greek passports will not be affected. Gr...eek citizens whose scheduled appointments will be cancelled will receive a message to this effect and are kindly requested to book a new appointment after the lockdown has been lifted. We will continue to provide services by mail and will accommodate emergency situations.
