Winter won't take a break! We are out again tonight. The forecast is showing the snow slowing down closer to midnight and city graders aren't scheduled to go until 7am so we have moved our tractor start time to Midnight to better time our cleaning and minimize the amount of time the tractor operators spend in the tractor. Shovel teams will start later this evening and work through the night. Please park all vehicles if possible in your garage and if putting garbage out for collection please leave it on one side of the laneway (opposite to the walkway side) and please do not arrange it all the way across the front of the laneway. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. Stay home and stay safe!!

We are expecting between 5-10 cms today although the snow is somewhat underperforming at this point but we still have lots of time left with this storm. We expect to clear this evening with tractors roughly scheduled in towards the tail end at 7:30pm. Shovel teams will start later once the snow has really tapered down after 8:30 pm. Looks like a night time clean up for this one. Will update later.

What a terrible day to be out driving around! Snow rates of 2-3 cms per hour and windy! Tractors are now on the road and will be doing Fast Passes (not full width), until the snow slows downs this afternoon at some point. Shovel crews are set to start later this afternoon once the snow is almost done accumulating. Diving this morning is dangerous. Please think about altering your plans. Be safe and stay home. Happy Valentines day! Overnight snow left behind close to 4 cms. As there is still some residual snow from last week on the ground we will send out our tractor and shovel teams for a courtesy clean up this morning between 6am-noon. Please note as the snowfall was under the 5 cms minimum we will only be doing one pass today and not returning for a second pass. Thank you, Stay home and stay safe.

Well! That was short and sweet! On average we barely are touching 5cms but will do a quick cleanup this afternoon never the less Tractors will be dispatched between noon and 1 pm for one pass today. Please start to move your cars around 12:00 pm so we will be able to clear your entire laneway. Shovel Crews will start between 1-2pm With a snowfall close to 5 cms we do not anticipate the city to send the graders out. Stay home and stay safe! Thanks

It would appear the winter snow season officially gets going today. Large storm coming in with close to 15 cms of snow starting later this afternoon and then really turning on this evening and overnight. We are as ready as we can be and hoping everything runs smooth the first time out. please note: cars should be parked in the garage whenever possible during a snow event. We will update later today on our plan for cleaning this mess up. We are also launching our email notifications later today so be sure to check your junk/spam/trash/promotions folders just incase. We are now into the new snow season! Please note while the weather is good, our office hours are 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday. Can we call it August yet? Ok, why not! We hope everyone is making the most out of our Covid summer. It hasn't been easy that's for sure. Here is our summer news: We have been working hard to update our database so we can move to a paperless snow contract renewal. If you haven't been asked by telephone to give us your current e-mail address please send it to us at: [email protected] Having your e-mail address in our database will allow us to send you a paperless renewal and enable us to get important and very current information to you during snow events. We are already working hard on the renewals for this year and expect to send them out just before labour day.
