It's pretty hard to feed goats in the winter between how much they waste hay on the ground and how much they get stuck in feeders! We have found those Lakeland feeders with the basket underneath to work well for us, not too much waste and no heads stuck for the most part. I count about 20 to 30 does per feeder, and I unroll them hay bales too when the weather is cold. How are you feeding your herd in the winter? Do you have a feeder you really like?
