Hi Everyone, Please remember that report cards will be coming home with students on Wednesday of this week. Conferences will take place on Thursday from 1-5 pm. If you provided a phone number to your child's teacher, you will see a conference time written on, or placed inside, the report card envelope. This is the time that the teacher will call you at home on Thursday ..... as best as they can !! Might be a few minutes earlier or later depending on circumstances relatin...g to google meet callouts. This is the first time we have attempted conferences in this manner. Remember the call will show as coming from London, Ontario. Also, students will be dismissed at 12 noon on Thursday and will be home for lunch. Cheers,

Hi Again Guys, Many of you are asking questions about the hamper sale so I thought I would send another email to clear up some misunderstandings. 1. Students are not collecting orders from people, there were no papers sent home to take orders this time due to covid restrictions. You as a parent/guardian can take orders if you wish and add it to your total order, that's up to you. We also encourage you to spread the word that a sale will be happening so that others may wish to... buy off the truck as well. 2. Report your orders, if you have any, on the google survey that was sent to everyone in your email a few days ago. This form keeps track of the data for us to review. 3. Payments of $15 per hamper will need to occur between anyone buying and the seller (Warren's) off the truck. We are not permitted to handle the money. The seller will donate $3 per hamper sold back to the school after the fact in the form of a cheque. 4. Hampers will be sold at the following two locations next Wednesday, October 7, if enough orders come in: a. Next to the pharmacy in Robert's Arm, where the old town office used to be. b. Just to the side of the fire hall in Triton (near rec building) More precise times will be communicated as we get nearer to that day next week. Thanks again for your support Cheers
Vegetable Hamper Update !!! Good morning everyone. Just a quick update on where we are with the vegetable hampers. To date we have about 60 orders for hampers. We will give it another couple of days to see if this number arises or not before we inform the supplier. We were hoping to see a little larger number but the supplier may still come down to this area if other people in the communities support it. ... Try to spread the word to those who may not read the Facebook posts or get emails from the school. We will tie down a specific date today for when they would likely be in the area early next week. More information to follow. Take care and stay safe.
Hi everyone We are planning a modified vegetable hamper sale in the coming days. Our supplier will donate $3 per bag sold back to the school. We certainly thank them for this. Hampers will be sold directly from the supplier (Larry and Mike Warren) at a couple locations in our area. Price per hamper is $15 as in the past. More information on exact date/time to follow. ... With restrictions on regular fundraising due to COVID, this sale provides an opportunity for us to raise some needed funds for the school, while still providing hampers, as in previous years, in a safe and responsible manner. We are hoping many of you will participate by buying for yourselves and others in your family. We sent all parents/guardians an email with a quick survey to get a sense of how many hampers you might consider purchasing. Please complete when you get an opportunity. Please share this post. Cheers
Hi Parents/guardians: We are now permitted to accept applications for courtesy seating on Leander Hewlett's bus run for students in the following previously established bus stop areas: - Crescent Ave ... - Millers Ave - Berg Street - Main street - In vicinity of post office area. Approval of courtesy seating will follow district protocol of youngest to oldest student first, followed by a consideration of individual circumstances. It will be another 1-2 weeks before we are permitted to pick up the approved students, as per district covid busing protocols. I have a pretty good idea which of you would want an application, so I'll place one in your child's backpack. Look for it this afternoon, complete it, and send it back within the next couple days. We ask that you let us know if you do not wish to avail of courtesy seating. Please understand that submitting an application does not automatically mean that your child is approved. Notification of approval will come in a few days. Cheers,
