Welcome to Greener Pastures SEMPER FORTIS!!!! This extremely handsome gelding is a 12 year old war horse. Racing 168 times he has a total earnings of $95,393. This horse just arrived yesterday afternoon and we can already tell he is an absolute gem. He has that eye, that look and exudes that energy of the kind, gentle giant type. Only an hour after he arrived to a new farm, new people, new horses - he stood like a statue to be groomed by a child. Looking forward to getting to know this guy better, he’s a keeper!!

Happy adoption day Kootenay Madamzena!!! Zena was such a gem to have, amazing temperament and willingness to do anything we asked of her. We really look forward to hearing updates as she makes new friends and establishes a bond with her new human! Happy trails beautiful girl!!

WINDSONG KHLOE can rest and relax knowing her previous connections, Team Bouvier Racing Stable made a generous donation to our program to support her (and her new retired friends) as we find her a new home. We can’t thank them enough for trusting us to transition her from a racehorse to a new career as a riding horse!

Adoption update on CUSTARDS MY MAN aka Denny, now called Rollo When Rollo came into our program he was recovering from an old injury. He was also a very shy horse hesitant to trust people. To find a home for a horse that needs a year of recovery time is not easy. This guys lucky stars aligned and the perfect match came along. ... Our boy is flourishing in his new home, he is sound and has bonded deeply with his new mom. We have seen video and their connection is so clear!! Really amazing and heartwarming to receive updates from this duo

Kootenay Madamzena is a 4 year old mare standing around 15.3hh. She’s a tall dark beauty with a laid back, sweet temperament. Zena is so easy to handle, a child could lead her...not much gets this girl excited. She’s had 2 rides so far and has been extremely willing and non reactive to having a rider.
