Turned this backyard into a pea gravel yard. Ideal when you have dogs that trample the lawn and ruin the sod. This is for sure low/no maintenance. First we remove the old sod, added soil and sub graded the yard, then added edging, mulch, filter cloth and the stones. The fence that was here before (swipe to see) fell over in the wind storm and was horribly installed. Posts were not set into the ground, no hangers for the rails, one screw to hold the board. We decided to go with a shadow box fence to have the privacy and still allow the wind to pass through with no trouble. Also both sides of the fence are the finished side. Helped out our client before we help her sell the house! Realtor / contractor for hire any day of the week even on Sundays. No rest days.
